Additional Notes:

  • Employees MUST bring ID to the facility. Resumes required. Fluently Bilingual MUST.

  • Schedule drivers through carriers to pick up packages or shipments from our company.

  • Communicate with customers to record details about shipments, arrange pick up times and discuss any special handling issues.

  • Review shipments logs and maintain various records, freight bills, and rate quotes - Keep records, monitoring status of shipment appointments daily with the aid of numerous computer programs.

  • Coordinate and manage the most efficient loads to remain cost-effective as a company, combining shipments based on cubic square footage and timeline to minimize dead/wasted space in trailers.

  • Determine the best carrier, delivery methods, and track rates directly with carriers and get the necessary documents that pertain to the shipments.

  • Cross training in various departments.
